Installation kits
Secure mounting of obstacle warning lights and control solutions
The safe and durable mounting of obstacle warning lights and system components requires more than just standard solutions. Our installation kits are precisely customized to the structural conditions and operating environments—whether for wind turbines, high-rise buildings, communication towers, industrial facilities, chimneys, or mobile crane systems. Each kit is a well-designed system comprising brackets, fasteners, and accessories—manufactured to your requirements.

Cable
Connections you can count on
The safe and standards-compliant operation of obstacle warning systems starts with the right connection. That is why Quantec Signals GmbH offers custom-made cables that are precisely customized to each specific application. Whether for installation on wind turbines, towers, or industrial facilities—every cable is manufactured according to the specific requirements of the project.
In doing so, we take a wide range of technical and practical factors into account: the required length, environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, or UV exposure, as well as the mechanical stresses at the installation site. The positioning and type of obstacle warning lights are also taken into account in the design. Additionally, compatible connectors are pre-assembled to enable quick, safe, and error-free installation—even under difficult conditions.
Our assemblies are manufactured with the highest precision and under strict quality control. This ensures that every cable not only fits perfectly but also functions reliably over the long term—as part of a well-designed and robust overall system.

Brightness sensor
Automatic adjustment to current lighting conditions
Brightness sensors are an essential component of modern obstacle lighting systems. They are already integrated into many of our smart lights. They continuously measure ambient brightness and control the activation or deactivation of the warning lights precisely and reliably. As soon as lighting conditions require signaling—such as at dusk, in fog, or under heavy cloud cover—the sensors automatically provide the appropriate lighting. When there is sufficient brightness, the lighting is turned off.
The result: an obstacle that is always clearly visible while consuming minimal energy—fully automated, low-maintenance, and reliable in continuous operation.

Visibility meter
Precise measurement for optimal obstacle lighting
The visibility meter automatically adjusts the light intensity to current visibility conditions. It is connected directly to the control cabinet and linked to a light alarm. The intensity levels (100%, 30%, or 10%) can be configured individually—as can the corresponding limit values.
All recorded visibility readings are documented in the lighting system’s log files and are available via the SCADA network or, optionally, via a radio connection. This allows the obstacle lighting to be intelligently and efficiently adapted to the current weather conditions.
